Calculating the weights of articles

Table 2 provides a range of dry weights of selected laundry items. While this is a useful guide for preplanning purposes the items to be laundered should be weighted as there can be large variations especially for those items such as sheets, towels, overalls, blankets, etc., that form the bulk of articles to be laundered.
